At Franklin County Emergency Management, we prioritize keeping our citizens informed. To achieve this, we utilize CodeRED, a notification system designed to alert Franklin County residents about natural disasters and significant events occurring in their areas. 

In the event of wildfires, for instance, we can send notifications to all residents within the affected zones. CodeRED offers multiple contact methods, including text messages, emails, and phone calls. Residents have the flexibility to add several contact numbers, which is especially beneficial for those with multiple lines (landline, cell, or business) and for families who wish to include additional contact information. 

We strongly encourage all Franklin County residents to enroll in CodeRED to ensure timely alerts when emergency notifications are issued. This service is provided at no cost to our residents.
